This notice describes how I, Dr. med. univ. Linda Asamoah-Ackwonu, process your personal data.

I will process the personal data you provide to me only in compliance with data protection, telecommunications, and civil law regulations for the following purposes:

1. • To initiate, execute, and manage the treatment/consultation contract between you and me, as well as to fulfill legal obligations in this context.
   • Only personal data necessary for the performance and management of my services (i.e., for contract fulfillment) and/or for fulfilling a legal obligation (e.g., documentation requirements according to § 51 of the Medical Act) will be collected and processed, or data that you have voluntarily provided to me. Personal data includes any information that relates to personal or factual circumstances, such as name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, age, gender, social security number, medical history, video recordings, photos, account numbers, etc.

Providing your personal data is voluntary unless required by law or contract. Please note that failure to provide such data may result in disadvantages, such as the inability to perform the treatment or delayed processing.

Data Security

I have implemented organizational and technical measures to protect your data from unauthorized, unlawful, or accidental access, processing, loss, use, and manipulation. Despite efforts to maintain a consistently high standard of care, it cannot be excluded that information you provide electronically may be accessed and used by others. Therefore, I do not assume any liability for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g., hacking of email accounts or phones, interception of faxes).

Retention Period

I will not retain your personal data longer than necessary to fulfill (assert) my contractual or legal obligations (rights) and as permitted by applicable law. I will retain your personal data for as long as legal retention obligations exist or statutes of limitations for potential legal claims have not yet expired.

Server Log Files
When you visit my website https://dr-asamoah.at, the website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits to me for optimizing the website’s system performance, user-friendliness, creating usage statistics, and detecting, preventing, and investigating any potential attacks on my website. This includes: your IP address, the name and version of your web browser, the website (URL) you visited before accessing my site, and the date and time of your visit to a page on my website.

Web Form
If you contact me via a form on the website or by email, the data you voluntarily provide will be stored to process your request and for any follow-up questions. Your data will only be shared with your consent.

Server log files are stored for 3 months. Information you voluntarily provide via forms on my website or by email will be stored for a maximum of 3 years, regardless of whether a contract is concluded. Without your consent, this data/information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law. Longer storage occurs only if legally required and/or to investigate identified attacks on my website.
